Shannon Johnson ranks among league leaders in several categories.
After winning the gold medal as the starting point guard for Team USA at the Athens Olympics last summer, former South Carolina women's basketball star Shannon Johnson is enjoying a productive 2005 season with the WNBA's San Antonio Silver Stars.
Through the team's first nine games, Johnson averages 7.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and ranks third among all WNBA players with 5.6 assists per game. In addition, Johnson averages 1.7 steals per game to rank fifth in the league. Overall, Johnson ranks in the WNBA's top 20 in 14 different categories and in the top 10 in nine different categories.
