USC is a big leader for DE Byron Isom (6-3 260) of Lovejoy, GA. Isom has 24 offers including USC, Clemson, Florida, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Nebraska and Penn State. But right now, it's the Gamecocks out in front, and by a wide margin.
"If I have a good visit and I get along with the team and I like everything on my visit, I'll commit," Isom said. He is scheduled to make an official visit to USC September 16th.
"I talked to coach Nix and he thinks I'll fit in well there and can make a big impact early." Isom also plans to set visits with Auburn and Florida. Last season he had 77 tackles and 10 sacks. |
